Abstract

Ani-Max is an intelligent mobile platform developed to support proactive health monitoring and early risk prevention in cats and dogs by integrating wearable vital-sign sensing with environmental risk analysis. Since pets cannot communicate discomfort verbally, early symptoms of conditions such as dehydration or heat stress often remain unnoticed until they become severe. The proposed system continuously monitors physiological and environmental parameters, including heart rate, blood pressure, activity level, ambient temperature, and humidity. Artificial intelligence techniques are employed to establish personalized health baselines for each animal and detect abnormal deviations in real time. Key implementation challenges included maintaining sensor accuracy during movement, ensuring reliable environmental data acquisition, and optimizing battery efficiency for continuous monitoring. Experimental evaluation demonstrated reliable system performance under resting conditions, while sensor accuracy decreased during high activity levels. Additionally, delays in environmental data updates affected the precision of risk assessment. These findings guided improvements such as motion-noise filtering and the use of redundant environmental data sources. Overall, Ani-Max provides a proactive monitoring framework that enables early intervention by pet owners, helping prevent health emergencies and improving overall animal well-being.
