This study examines the influence of FinTech adoption on the performance, accessibility, and customer experience of the Indian banking and financial services industry. It uses a descriptive and analytical research design, combining primary survey data from bank customers and digital financial service users with secondary sources such as reports, journals, and industry publications. The study applies quantitative analysis, including descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and regression tests, to assess relationships between FinTech adoption and key outcomes such as customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial inclusion.
The findings indicate that respondents generally view FinTech positively, especially in terms of convenience, efficiency, and digital service experience. However, the hypothesis tests show that FinTech adoption does not have a statistically significant relationship with customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, or financial inclusion in the surveyed sample. The results suggest that these outcomes may depend on additional factors such as service quality, trust, digital literacy, cybersecurity, and supporting institutional infrastructure.
Overall, the study concludes that FinTech is reshaping Indian banking, but its benefits are not automatically realized through adoption alone. Effective gains require stronger implementation, improved user trust, and better alignment between technology, regulation, and banking strategy.
