Abstract

Sustainable engineering management has emerged as a critical discipline in addressing global challenges such as climate change, social inequality, and resource depletion. This paper investigates how sustainable engineering management practices can be effectively integrated to foster social innovation. The research emphasizes frameworks that combine efficiency, ethical responsibility, and inclusivity while ensuring environmental protection. Using data analysis, case studies, and structured methodologies, the study explores the role of collaborative models, stakeholder engagement, and digital technologies in bridging the gap between engineering solutions and societal needs. A comprehensive questionnaire-based analysis highlights the perspectives of professionals, industries, and communities in adopting sustainable practices. Three structured tables provide insights into challenges, opportunities, and performance outcomes of sustainable practices. Findings suggest that engineering managers play a pivotal role as change agents by embedding sustainability into project design, execution, and evaluation. The paper concludes with actionable recommendations for policymakers, industry leaders, and academic institutions to drive innovation that benefits society while ensuring technical excellence and environmental stewardship.
